HR Recruitment Advisor – Redeployment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers across Suffolk County Council, helping them recruit the people they need to deliver services for the people of Suffolk
• Manage your own recruitment portfolio, acting as the main HR Recruitment contact
• Provide practical advice, helping managers attract the right candidates, deliver fair, inclusive and effective recruitment processes, ensure appointments are compliant and create a positive experience for candidates
• Build strong relationships with the services you support, understand the challenges they're facing and work with them to find the right recruitment solutions
• Lead and contribute to recruitment and HR improvement projects
• Provide advice on sponsorship, immigration and right to work requirements
• Support employees through the redeployment process
• Represent the organisation at jobs fairs and careers events
• Deliver training and information/knowledge sharing events

• Solid understanding of recruitment and experience of providing advice and support throughout the recruitment process
• Ideally have worked in an in-house recruitment or HR environment
• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering a great service
• Strong working knowledge of recruitment best practice and employment legislation
• Confident building relationships, advising managers and understanding their recruitment needs
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload with competing priorities
• Proactive, taking ownership of your work and looking for opportunities to improve
• Understanding of UK immigration and Home Office sponsorship requirements (desirable)
