Talent Acquisition Partner | Casual Pool | Newmarket

  • 12-month fixed term maternity leave contract - Sept 2026 start

Overview

Our wonderful Anna is heading off on maternity leave and we are looking for an equally amazing Talent Partner (high-volume recruiter) to cover her leave for 12 months (from Sept 2026). You will be joining an experienced, outgoing and hardworking Talent and supportive management team, who are at the ready to advise, develop and help you succeed in your role. You will be recruiting for our casual pool of candidates (Metflex) for our 40 Villages across New Zealand.

This is a busy, high-volume and important position in our team. You will work closely with the other members of the Metflex team to really get our casual pool pumping.

Responsibilities
  • Attract, source, recruit and retain staff for our high-volume casual bureau (Metflex)
  • Phone screen and interview potential candidates
  • Liaise and coordinate with Metflex Team and schedulers on vacancies
  • Organise, coordinate, and retain compliance documents for all casual applicants
  • Liaise with wider Talent Team on suitable candidates and placements
  • Ad hoc project work and process continuous improvement
  • Administration of candidate documents as required
About you

This position will certainly bring out the volume recruiter in you! You are by nature high energy, you work better when you are busy and feel that buzz out of building your talent pool to a point where there is always someone to fill a shift, maybe several people!

You may currently be running a high-volume agency temp desk or stagnating in an internal role which is not providing you with the development you need. If all this had sparked your interest, we are keen to speak with you – we are looking for the right attitude and can train you in the rest.
