Softcat's Learning & Development (L&D) team
, part of the People and Property department, drives success by fostering a culture of curiosity, growth and continuous development. Working alongside HR Services, People Business Partners, Reward, Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Engagement, the Learning & Development team ensures Softcat thrives through its people.
As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of Softcat's Early Careers strategy by providing essential coordination and administrative support across a range of development programmes. This is a varied, fast‑paced role offering the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your skills and managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities- Coordinating and scheduling Early Careers training programmes, workshops and events across multiple locations and virtual platforms
- Providing administrative and project support, including reporting, data management, diary coordination and maintaining L&D systems
- Coordinating training logistics, including room bookings, technology requirements, facilitator engagement and attendance tracking
- Managing L&D mailboxes and providing timely support and guidance for learning-related queries
- Gathering feedback and producing reports to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives
- Facilitating induction activities and providing on‑day support for training sessions and events
- Experience providing administrative, coordination or organisational support in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other systems, along with the ability to learn new tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, working collaboratively with diverse teams
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach with an interest in Learning & Development and a willingness to learn and grow
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
- Working flexible hours – flexing the times you start and finish during the day
- Flexibility around school pick‑up and drop‑offs
