HR Generalist / Talent Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
We are looking for someone to fill the role as a HR Business Partner. In this role you will be part of the larger People & Sustainability team, which supports a number of divisions within Bidcorp UK.
This role will support a collection of independent food service suppliers working together to offer both an extensive product range, industry knowledge and geographic coverage.
Please note: this role is remote and involves regular mandatory travel to Fleetwood, Birmingham, Leeds and Stockport. This will include overnight stays. Travel could be 2–3 times per month or 2–3 times per week, so flexibility will be essential. Role Essentials- As a key member of the People Operations team you will work with Managing Directors and Leadership teams to deliver commercially viable HR solutions that develop capability and drive performance.
- You will lead and deliver the people plan for your area in collaboration with your Managing Directors, giving insight‑led solutions to ensure fit for now and into the future.
- In addition to leading and supporting key business change by promoting behaviours that drive success, you will support and deliver talent management initiatives with business leaders ensuring stakeholders are fully engaged.
- You will work collaboratively with the wider HR team (e.g. L&D, People Services and Payroll), agreeing priorities to meet customer requirements and embed tools and processes.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate a commercial focus, an excellent understanding of UK employment law and demonstrable experience of its commercial and pragmatic application.
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally very experienced with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience supporting multiple sites, preferably geographically dispersed (but not essential).
- Full UK full driving licence.
- Significant, true HR Business partnering and relationship building experience across the whole employee life cycle in a high‑paced, high‑delivery, multi‑site diverse environment.
- The ability to work under pressure, plan, coordinate and prioritise activities, and self‑discipline, motivation and excellent communication and negotiation skills with gravitas, presence and the ability to build strong relationships.
- The ability to have difficult conversations when required.
