Position: People Administrator (12 month fixed term)

About the role

The People Administrator supports a high‑impact People team by maintaining systems, delivering efficient People processes and coordinating events. The role involves high‑level administrative duties, reporting, scheduling, and collaboration across People, Resourcing and Corporate teams. It is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with potential for long‑term extension.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the HR system, keeping data accurate and up‑to‑date; report key People metrics.
  • Handle simple HR requests, triage administrative queries, and book blackout days for groups.
  • Administer associate contracts in line with HR or CPO guidance.
  • Schedule and manage pulse and bi‑annual People surveys, ensure high completion.
  • Coordinate People‑related events, updates and drop‑ins.
  • Assist with the twice‑yearly Assessment & Development process, including scheduling and feedback collection.
  • Work with Resourcing to distribute competence assessments and drive completion rates.
  • Remind and chase Development Sponsors to send 360‑feedback requests.
  • Manage the CPO’s diary, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure 1:1s, Team meetings and material reviews are scheduled efficiently.
  • Coordinate People team/SLT rotational attendance for drop‑ins.
  • Align schedules with wider People and Corporate teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements in People reporting and processes.
Requirements
  • Degree level in a relevant field (HR, Business Management, Finance, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Highly desirable
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification.
  • Familiarity with HR and LMS systems (Sage HR a plus).
  • Competency with Claude and other AI tools to enhance process efficiency.

Flexible working

The role offers a hybrid model, with standard remote work one day per week and up to 44 remote working days per year (two days per week subject to client needs). Core on‑site hours are 10:00–16:00.
