- Building strong, trusted relationships and safeguarding CHRGs reputation for clarity and integrity.
- Substantial HR/ER casework experience in small organisations, public sector or consultancy and strong working knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Confidence advising clients independently on HR matters including conduct, capability, sickness and grievance.
- Strong judgement and ability to balance legal compliance with practical, balanced advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with clerks and councillors.
- Good organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and remain calm and solutions‑focused in their approach.
- A values‑driven approach with a commitment to fairness and integrity.
- CIPD Level 5 as a minimum.
Experience in local government or the parish/town council sector is an advantage.
