Full time, permanent contract

Nottingham Trent University’s Schools and Colleges Liaison Team are looking to recruit a confident and effective communicator to join their busy team to perform the role of Schools and Colleges Liaison Executive
. The main objectives of the role is to engage with key post 16 feeder institutions in London and the South of England to raise awareness of the benefits of studying at NTU and contributing to the University's recruitment objectives.
You will need to be a flexible and proactive individual capable of working on your own initiative and as an effective team member. You'll have excellent presentation skills and the ability, empathy, and experience to engage with young people. You will also be able to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders in sixth forms and colleges with the core aim of strengthening the image and perception of NTU.
Other responsibilities will include supporting the Schools and Colleges Liaison Team with the development of new and existing activities, representing NTU at nationwide education events and recording data.
You will be expected to travel across wide areas of the UK throughout the year. The role involves substantial periods away from home and over-night stays.
You should be educated to degree level and ideally you'll have some experience of working with young people in an education setting; however, this is not essential. You must be confident managing groups in a classroom setting and delivering presentations to large audiences with the aim of influencing their decision making about their university choices.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and to further your experience working with schools and young people.
About UsOur award-winning Department of Communications, Alumni Relations, Marketing and Student Recruitment (CAMS) is responsible for engaging with key audiences including prospective students to support NTU’s student recruitment targets and driving forward NTU’s reputation and brand.
