Senior Recruitment Consultant - Hot Desk

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take over an established, income-generating desk - full of live client relationships and existing business - backed by a dedicated resourcing and compliance team so you can focus on what you do best: sales and relationship-building.

This is a 180 role on a hot desk - an existing patch with live client relationships, recurring bookings, and warm business already in place. You'll take over and grow this book from day one, rather than build one from scratch, while a team of resource rs supports you on candidate delivery. You'll:

• Take ownership of an established client base across an assigned patch in London and the Home Counties, maintaining and expanding those relationships
• Fill temporary, long-term, and permanent positions across teaching and support staff
• Identify and convert further opportunities within existing accounts, alongside new business development
• Negotiate pay rates and manage candidate relationships end to end
• Work closely with our compliance and resourcing teams to keep your desk running smoothly
• Own your numbers - track placements and hit financial targets from an established base

• Proven billing history as a Recruitment Consultant, with 2-3+ years' experience and a track record of managing your own desk
• Experience running warm or established client relationships, not just building from cold
• Strong track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including head teachers
• Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working at pace
• Education or teaching sector recruitment experience is a strong advantage, though not essential - we'll get you up to speed on the sector
