Duties of the Group HR Advisor:
Provide generalist HR support across the dealer network, including advice on employee relations, performance management, conduct, and absence issues
Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance procedures, ensuring compliance with legal standards
Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointments
Oversee sickness absence management and implement return-to-work procedures
Assist in delivering performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development initiatives
Collaborate with Recruitment to facilitate timely hiring processes
Promote best HR practices aligned with employment legislation and company policies
Support organisational development and employee engagement initiatives
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure statutory compliance
Requirements of the Group HR Advisor:
CIPD qualification or actively working towards it
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR advisory role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the Group HR Advisor
Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
Professional, supportive approach with a focus on developing teams and supporting managers
Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential
