Talent Partner (8-Week Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Partner to join our People team on an 8-week contract. This role will support recruitment across a range of corporate functions, with a particular focus on identifying, attracting, and engaging high-calibre talent.
Working closely with hiring managers and people partners, you will provide market intelligence, build talent pipelines, support succession planning activities, and deliver an exceptional end-to-end recruitment experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys sourcing, stakeholder management, and partnering with the business to solve hiring challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and engage high-quality and diverse talent across multiple business functions.
- Conduct candidate screening and qualification conversations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Undertake talent mapping and competitor research activities.
- Provide market insight on talent availability, compensation trends, and candidate behaviours.
- Support hiring managers in creating compelling job descriptions and recruitment campaigns.
- Write and post job adverts across relevant attraction channels.
- Partner with stakeholders on internal mobility and succession planning initiatives.
- Produce candidate briefing packs for senior appointments where required.
- Manage agency relationships and external search partners when necessary.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal governance requirements.
- Collaborate with People Operations and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and support diversity-focused recruitment initiatives.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in talent acquisition, recruitment, executive search, or an internal resourcing function.
- Strong direct sourcing and candidate engagement experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience conducting market mapping and talent intelligence activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Desirable
- Experience recruiting for Finance, Corporate, Professional Services, or Shared Service functions.
- Knowledge of succession planning and talent management practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
