We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity leave cover from December 2026.
We're a Birmingham based company that specialise in Social Housing recruitment. The ideal candidate will have recruitment experience and will be personable, self-motivated and confident in building positive relationships with candidates and colleagues.
As the Talent Acquisition Officer you'll be joining an enthusiastic team of 35 and given full support and training throughout your time here.
The responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Officer will be:- Write and post engaging job adverts across relevant platforms
- Conduct initial telephone interviews to assess candidate competencies and suitability
- Arrange and run assessment centres for suitable candidates on a fortnightly basis
- Liaise with directors and senior members of the team to arrange final-stage interviews and telephone trials
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Ensure new starters are fully compliance before their start dates, chasing carrying our references
- Ensure the CRM is used correctly and maintained accurately
- Proactively approach suitable sales candidates through job boards and Linked In
- Have previous recruitment experience or exposure to a recruitment environment, with an understanding of the recruitment process
- Be able to deliver results in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Be great with people and have excellent relationship-building skills
- Be highly self-motivated and driven
- Have a positive can-do attitude and is a real team player
- Have strong communication and organisation skills
- Have high-level influencing skills

This role is based in Birmingham city centre, offering excellent transport links across the city and surrounding areas. The office is easily accessible via the M6, M5, and A38, alongside strong public transport connections through Birmingham New Street and local bus routes.
