3–6 months We are supporting an established organisation with the recruitment of an experienced HR Administrator for a 3–6 month contract. Working within the People Services team and reporting to the Head of People Services, you will provide accurate, efficient and confidential administrative support across the employee lifecycle. This is a varied opportunity for a dependable administrator who enjoys combining employee support with high-quality documentation, data and systems work.
Key responsibilities Maintaining accurate employee records and confidential HR files. Preparing contracts, HR correspondence and starter, change and leaver documentation. Responding to employee queries through a ticketing system and escalating matters where appropriate. Collating and submitting accurate payroll information within agreed deadlines. Maintaining HR systems and supporting strong data quality. Producing routine HR reports, metrics and management information. Ensuring processes are completed in accordance with company policies and relevant employment legislation.
About you Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR or People Services. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Experience handling personal and confidential information. Clear, professional and customer-focused communication skills. Confidence using Microsoft Office.
Experience with HR systems, databases or ticketing platforms would be advantageous. A practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork. Qualifications GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics. A CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice would be desirable but is not essential. What’s on offer A 3–6 month contract with a predominantly home-based working pattern. Approximately 80% remote working and 20% office attendance.
Broad exposure to employee lifecycle administration, HR systems, payroll information and reporting. A salary of £25,,000–£28,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
