What you'll be doing:
As People Team (HR) Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of their People function, ensuring their managers and employees receive a high-quality, professional HR service. You'll:
Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Advisors, Officers and Administrators. Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability cases. Partner with managers across the organisation to support people-related decisions and encourage best practice. Manage and develop our HR and recruitment systems, ensuring accurate people data and reporting. Produce meaningful workforce insights and reports to support informed decision-making.
Support organisational change initiatives and people-focused projects. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Deputise for the Head of Organisational Development & People when required.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a confident HR professional who combines strong operational expertise with a collaborative and proactive approach. Essential experience:
Significant experience delivering a broad range of HR services in a busy organisation. Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases. Previous experience leading or managing an HR team. Experience developing HR policies, procedures and people practices. Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Experience using HR systems and databases, alongside strong reporting and analytical skills. Essential
Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong coaching and influencing abilities. Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Confidence working independently while building strong relationships across the organisation. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
Qualifications:
You will ideally have: CIPD qualification (or be working towards one), or Equivalent HR experience supported by relevant professional development. Benefits: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week, they will consider someone on a 0.8 (4 days) basis 25 days plus Bank Holidays Availability to work from home one day per week for appointments/time needed to work away from the office Free Parking at all sites Competitive pension schemes alongside NHS pension access for continuing members.
