As an HR Advisor, you will provide proactive and professional people support to leaders and employees across the business. You will offer guidance on employee relations matters, support HR initiatives, and help ensure our people practices are compliant, consistent, and aligned with company values.
During a Typical Day, You'll- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Support employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance matters.
- Partner with leaders to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with investigations, hearings, and case documentation, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and policy updates.
- Analyse HR trends and metrics to support business decision‑making.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience handling employee relations cases independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- CIPD qualification or working toward CIPD certification preferred.
- 25 days annual leave to start, increasing by 1 day on each anniversary for the first 5 years, up to a maximum of 30 days, plus bank holidays.
