Location: Hybrid – Teddington office & remote working

About the Role

We are seeking a People Services Manager to lead and support the delivery of high-quality people operations across international programmes. This is a pivotal role within the People & Culture team
, ensuring operational excellence in HR systems, contracts, onboarding, compliance, and employee experience.

You’ll be managing a small UK-based team while collaborating with global HR colleagues and leaders to provide consistent, service-focused support across a diverse international workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of HR operations
    , including contracts, onboarding, compliance, and systems.
  • Oversee and improve HR processes and workflows, ensuring efficiency and service excellence.
  • Manage a small UK-based team, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Collaborate with global HR colleagues to ensure consistency in people services across multiple regions.
  • Provide advice and support to staff and managers on operational HR issues.
Candidate Profile
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and operational HR practices.
  • Experience in international contexts, ideally in the INGO or humanitarian sector
    .
  • Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience improving HR processes in fast-paced, international settings.
  • Strong commitment to empowering people and supporting organisational mission.

  • Hybrid working: minimum attendance at the Teddington office, with flexibility to work from home by agreement.
