Interim Senior HR Advisor

Interim Senior HR Advisor | 36,000 Per Annum Pro Rata (£45,000 FTE) | Preston Macmillan Davies is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in Preston to recruit an immediate-start HR Advisor to support the business during a period of transition. This is a part-time role on a rolling one-month contract of up to 30 hours per week, with flexibility around how the hours are worked.

The successful candidate will be required to work at least 2 days per week from the Preston office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide practical HR advice and guidance to line managers. Manage and support employee relations casework, including performance, conduct and attendance matters. Coach managers on lower-level people issues, helping them resolve matters informally where appropriate. Act as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day HR queries. Build strong relationships with managers through predominantly phone and remote-based support.

About You:

Experienced HR Advisor, HR Generalist or HRBP with strong ER experience. Confident coaching managers and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice. Strong knowledge of UK employment law. Comfortable working independently Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Available for an immediate start or short notice period.
