About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function remotely. This pivotal role will oversee all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR compliance. You will be instrumental in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and foster a positive and productive remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies across all functional areas, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Oversee talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs for a geographically dispersed team.
Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies in a remote setting.
Administer and review compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Implement and monitor performance management systems, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, particularly those pertaining to remote employment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build strong relationships remotely.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology tools.
