Human Resources Officer

Our client is seeking a proactive and diligent Human Resources Officer to support their HR department in East London. This role operates on a hybrid model, providing a blend of in-office and remote work flexibility. You will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the HR function, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, contributing to a positive employee experience.

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including candidate sourcing and interviewing.
• Manage and maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Administer employee benefits and respond to HR-related inquiries.
• Help ensure compliance with HR policies and South African labor laws.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Officer or Administrator.
• Familiarity with HRIS and standard office productivity software.
• Good knowledge of South African employment legislation.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
