About the Role

Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Mining & Resources sector. Based remotely but serving clients nationally, including those in Mahikeng, this role requires deep industry knowledge and a proven ability to attract highly specialized talent. You will manage key client relationships, lead complex search assignments, and mentor junior consultants. • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and specialist roles within the mining and resources sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their strategic talent needs.
• Source, engage, and assess highly specialized candidates, including engineers, geologists, and management professionals.
• Utilize advanced search techniques and industry networks to build robust talent pipelines.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks.
• Mentor and guide junior recruitment consultants within the sector team.

• Significant experience (5+ years) in recruitment consultancy, with a proven specialization in the Mining & Resources sector.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for technical, operational, and leadership roles within the industry.
• Excellent understanding of the mining lifecycle, related technologies, and key industry players.
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage complex search assignments.
• Proficiency with ATS and specialized recruitment sourcing tools.
