Lead Recruitment Consultant - IT

About the Role

Our client, a specialist IT recruitment consultancy situated in Durban , is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Recruitment Consultant focused on the technology sector. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the success of a growing consultancy. You will be responsible for managing a team of IT recruiters, overseeing high-volume technical hiring, and developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract scarce tech talent.

This role requires a leader with deep knowledge of the IT job market and a passion for connecting skilled professionals with cutting-edge opportunities in Durban and beyond.

• Lead and mentor a team of IT recruitment consultants, setting performance goals and providing guidance.
• Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles, including software development, cybersecurity, and data science.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract passive and active IT professionals.
• Build strong relationships with IT hiring managers and stakeholders, understanding their technical needs.
• Oversee the candidate experience, ensuring a positive and professional interaction throughout the hiring journey.
• Analyze recruitment data and market insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Proven expertise in sourcing and attracting talent for various tech stacks and roles.
• Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including current trends and in-demand skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and people management abilities.
• Experience with various recruitment tools, ATS, and Linked In Recruiter.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
