About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Remote HR Manager to lead their Human Resources initiatives across their distributed workforce. This role is critical for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that foster a positive, productive, and inclusive remote work culture. You will oversee all HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development, operating autonomously within a virtual-first environment.

• Develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with company objectives for a remote workforce.
• Lead and manage all aspects of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention programs.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations across applicable jurisdictions.
• Provide expert guidance and support to leadership on HR best practices and employee relations.

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success in managing HR for a remote or distributed workforce.
• Expertise in South African labor law, HR policies, and HRIS management.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  Master's or professional certification preferred.
