Remote Human Resources Generalist

Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Human Resources Generalist to join their distributed team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with national labor regulations. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can effectively manage HR processes and support employees and management remotely, contributing to a cohesive and productive virtual work environment.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to maintaining our client's strong company culture and operational efficiency.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing candidates to extending offers.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for all employees.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive remote work culture.
• Advise management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant South African labor laws and regulations in a remote context.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably with exposure to remote work environments.
• Strong understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
