About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote HR Officer to join their fully remote team. This role is essential for supporting employees and management across various locations, ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained. You will handle a range of HR generalist duties, including employee onboarding, support, policy guidance, and maintaining HR records, all conducted virtually.

• Provide remote HR support to employees and managers, addressing queries and concerns.
• Manage the complete onboarding process for new hires in a virtual environment.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Assist with the administration of HR policies and programs, ensuring consistency.
• Support HR projects and initiatives remotely as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to HR generalist functions.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Understanding of South African labor law principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism.
