Recruiting Talent Sourcer

This role is an opportunity to join a growing Talent Acquisition team and contribute to recruitment efforts across a broad range of critical positions. You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition professionals and business leaders to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber talent. The position focuses heavily on proactive sourcing, including passive candidate engagement and strategic talent pipeline development. You will use modern sourcing tools, networks, and data-driven approaches to strengthen recruitment outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong communication, collaboration, organization, and resilience in a fast-paced environment. The position is remote within Ontario, with locations including Ottawa and the Toronto/GTA area.

• Support and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for critical roles across the organization, including senior and executive-level positions.
• Leverage sourcing platforms, databases, professional networks, and innovative recruitment techniques to identify both active and passive candidates.
• Proactively engage with prospective candidates, build long-term relationships, and generate interest in available opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand role requirements, align on talent needs, and refine candidate profiles.
• Evaluate candidates based on their experience, capabilities, cultural alignment, and potential to deliver results.
• Present qualified and shortlisted candidates to Talent Acquisition Partners for further consideration.
• Build, maintain, and manage active talent pipelines while ensuring timely candidate communication and engagement.
• Track sourcing activity and recruitment metrics, providing insights into candidate engagement, talent trends, and overall sourcing effectiveness.
• Continuously refine sourcing strategies based on data, market insights, and recruitment outcomes.

• 4+ years of professional talent sourcing experience; experience supporting global recruitment across multiple markets is an advantage.
• Strong sourcing expertise using advanced techniques such as Boolean search, Linked In Recruiter, recruitment databases, networking, and other innovative sourcing methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships and effectively engage candidates.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, particularly when communicating with passive and highly sought-after talent.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively with Talent Acquisition teams, hiring managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and data management skills, with the ability to use metrics to inform sourcing decisions and improve recruitment strategies.
• Proficiency with sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently and remain organized while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Resilience and adaptability when working through changing priorities, ambiguity, and evolving business requirements.
• Ability to work from a quiet, secure home environment with reliable communication capabilities.

• Salary range of $70,000-$80,000
  , with the final offer determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, role scope, and market and business considerations.
