This is a varied, hands-on generalist role supporting around 230 colleagues across five UK offices. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, helping people feel heard, supported and able to do their best work.

You will enjoy building strong relationships, giving practical advice and finding solutions that work for both our people and the business. No two days will be the same: you may be supporting an employee relations case, improving an HR process, helping with recruitment or making better use of our HR systems.

• Provide practical, commercially minded HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Manage a broad range of employee relations matters with confidence, care and discretion.
• Help improve HR systems, processes and ways of working.
• Support HR projects and the wider people agenda.
• Build trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels.
• Travel regularly to our regional offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham.

You will have solid HR Advisor or HR Manager experience and enjoy working in a busy, people-focused environment. You will be confident applying UK employment law in a practical way and balancing employee needs with business priorities.

• CIPD Level 5 membership or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
• Experience using an HR system; HRIS administration or process improvement experience would be useful.
• Strong organisation, judgement and attention to detail.
• A warm, approachable and professional manner.
• The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to get involved.
• Resilience and calmness when handling difficult or sensitive situations.

Experience in financial services, professional services or a multi-site organisation would be an advantage, as would experience with Moorepay or Access LMS.
