Our client, a niche Recruitment Consultancy, is seeking a highly specialized and experienced Specialist Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal market. This role is ideal for a recruitment professional with deep expertise in a particular industry sector (e.g., engineering, mining, energy) who can provide bespoke talent solutions to clients. You will be responsible for building a strong presence in your specialist area, developing trusted advisor relationships with clients, and attracting high-caliber candidates.

• Develop and execute a targeted recruitment strategy within your chosen specialist sector.
• Source and engage highly skilled and niche candidates, often through passive candidate outreach.
• Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of the relevant industry landscape, including key companies and talent pools.
• Manage client relationships, providing expert advice on talent acquisition and market trends.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to ensure the perfect match between candidate and client needs.
• Close offers and manage the candidate experience through to successful onboarding.

• Minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, with a demonstrable track record in a specialist sector.
• Proven ability to source and attract hard-to-find talent within a specific industry.
• Excellent market knowledge and the ability to articulate value to both clients and candidates.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
