About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Human Resources Specialist to join their fully remote team, supporting their expansive operations which include Randburg . This senior role will spearhead key HR initiatives, focusing on developing and implementing advanced HR strategies in areas such as talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement. You will provide expert guidance to leadership and the HR team, driving best practices and ensuring our people strategy effectively supports the company's ambitious growth targets.
This is a critical leadership position for a forward-thinking HR professional ready to make a significant impact in a remote-first organization.
- Lead the design and execution of strategic HR initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, and workforce analytics.
- Develop and refine HR policies and procedures to support a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive remote workforce.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to senior leadership on complex HR matters.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies tailored for a distributed team.
- Oversee HR compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the HR team.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, MBA, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or specialist role.
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning, talent management , and organizational development.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and international HR practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, vital for leading in a remote capacity.
