About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is essential for supporting the HR department in various operational functions, including recruitment administration, employee record management, and policy implementation. You will work closely with employees and management to ensure HR processes are efficient and compliant. • Assist with the full recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files.
• Support the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, providing guidance to employees on routine queries.
• Help coordinate HR training programs and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration.

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Officer or Assistant.
• Knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration in Upington and remotely.
