Senior HR Generalist - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Generalist to join their fully remote team, supporting operations nationwide. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all facets of human resources, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS, and compliance. You will act as a key advisor to management and employees, driving HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.

• Provide expert HR guidance and support across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
• Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions.
• Oversee performance management processes, coaching managers and employees on best practices.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and strategies.
• Manage HR data and reporting, leveraging HRIS for insights and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and best practices in a remote setting.

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in a Senior HR Generalist or HR Managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
