Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for one of our Barnsley based clients. This is a fantastic role in a unique setting and will offer a rewarding opportunity for a HR professional to contribute their experience whilst growing the HR function and making a real difference across the organisation. The Senior Management Team are looking for an experienced HR professional / HR Manager, who can bring real value to the people agenda, providing advice and support whilst ensuring policies, processes and compliance are up to date and consistently applied.

We’re looking for a strong influencer who can advise and engage whilst making a significant difference to the HR agenda including:
Advising managers on Employee Relations including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability Managing recruitment and onboarding, including pre-employment checks Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance Supporting employee wellbeing, engagement and inclusion Coordinating training and development and maintaining training records Maintaining HR systems, employee records and reporting Supporting safeguarding, data protection and wider compliance activity Working on HR and people improvement projects To be successful in the role you’ll need:
Strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a standalone role Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Experience advising managers on Employee Relations A track record of HR and process improvement Strong communication and influencing skills with the credibility to work at all levels

Experience of Recruitment, Development, Engagement and Wellbeing Highly organised, with sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience If you possess the influencing ability and confidence to operate in a standalone HR role and would like to know more about this role, please apply or get in touch.
