Senior P&O Business Partner – North

Location:

Regional travel across North of England and Scotland Hybrid – 3 days a week travelling to site – 2 days working from home

Roles and responsibilities
  • Partnering with Operating Unit and hospital leadership teams to develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Supporting workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
  • Coaching and advising managers on performance management, employee relations and people best practice.
  • Leading complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and business transformation projects.
  • Working closely with our Centres of Excellence, Legal, Payroll and Benefits teams to deliver an outstanding associate experience.
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risks and recommend solutions.
  • Driving associate engagement through listening initiatives, action planning and continuous improvement.
  • Championing diversity, equity and inclusion while embedding the Mars Five Principles throughout the business.
  • Delivering coaching and training to leaders on people management, compliance and leadership capability.
Experience required
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A professional HR qualification such as CIPD (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • At least five years' experience in a People Business Partner or HR Business Partner role.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • A data-driven approach with the ability to interpret people metrics and turn insight into action.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
