People & Culture Advisor required in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.
Permanent Huntingdon £35,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 8am 5pm (1 day working from home)
We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor with strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to provide HR advice and support across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and advise on a range of ER cases
, from day-to-day issues through to more complex cases. - Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, probation and performance management processes.
- Provide practical advice on HR policies, procedures and employment matters.
- Monitor ER casework, identify trends and provide updates to the People & Culture Business Partner.
- Support onboarding, contracts, HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HR systems.
- Support employee engagement activities and wider People & Culture projects.
- Previous HR advisory experience with strong ER case management experience
. - CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards it, ideally.
- Confident advising managers on a range of employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with HRIS or Time & Attendance systems is desirable.
- Able to build strong relationships at all levels, from the factory floor to senior management.
- Additional European language skills are advantageous.
- Other languages spoken would be desirable
