Graduate Trainee Human Resources Assistant

Our client is seeking proactive and organized Graduate Trainee Human Resources Assistants to join their People Operations team in Randburg. This is an excellent entry-level role for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, offering comprehensive exposure to HR functions and practices. You will support the HR team in daily administrative tasks, recruitment processes, employee onboarding, and maintaining HR records.

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting the employee lifecycle within a hybrid work model.

• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support the onboarding of new employees, including documentation and orientation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
• Provide administrative support for HR-related activities, such as training programs and employee engagement initiatives.
• Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Understanding of basic HR principles and employment law is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for tasks in Randburg.
