About Reliable Security Staffing
Reliable Security Staffing is a trusted provider of security personnel and intelligence support services. We take pride in matching skilled professionals with meaningful assignments while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. Our team is growing, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Telework Program Officer to own and advance our telework policy framework and program administration. This is a dual-scope role: you will be responsible for both strategic policy development (the Telework Managing Officer function) and day-to-day program administration (the Telework Coordinator function).
We are open to candidates at either level. If you are a senior professional with policy leadership experience, you will step in at the Officer level and shape our telework strategy from the ground up. If you are an experienced coordinator ready to take on more responsibility, you will start with program administration and grow into policy ownership. Either way, this role offers a clear path forward within our organization.
WhatYou’ll Own Policy Development & Strategy (Telework Managing Officer Function)
- Design, draft, and implement Reliable Security Staffing's telework policies, ensuring alignment with company goals, client requirements, and applicable employment laws.
- Serve as the primary advisor to leadership on telework matters, including risk assessment, compliance, and program effectiveness.
- Develop telework agreements, eligibility criteria, and performance measurement frameworks that account for the unique security and data protection requirements of our industry.
- Monitor regulatory changes and recommend policy updates as needed.
- Represent the company in discussions with clients and partners regarding telework arrangements and security protocols.
- Administer the day-to-day operations of the telework program, including processing agreements, tracking participation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors with questions about telework eligibility, rules, and processes.
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure telework arrangements adhere to company policy and client contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on program participation, compliance metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with HR, IT, and Security teams to ensure remote work setups meet our technical and security standards.
- Communicate policy updates and provide training to staff on telework expectations and best practices.
- 2+ years of experience in HR policy, program administration, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of telework principles, employment law considerations, and remote work best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you will be drafting policies and explaining them clearly to employees at all levels.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with standard office software and comfort learning new HR or compliance platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in the security industry or another compliance-driven field.
- Familiarity with telework regulations (e.g., U.S. Telework Enhancement Act) and related guidance.
- Prior experience developing or leading a telework program.
