Knowledge Management Expert

The Knowledge Management Expert will help improve the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of AI-powered enterprise search tools and workplace assistants. This role is designed for experienced HR professionals who can evaluate how AI systems respond to real-world human resources questions. You will assess the quality of answers, verify source citations, and ensure that responses respect user permissions and reflect up-to-date information.
By identifying content gaps, conflicting knowledge, and reasoning errors, you will help strengthen AI performance in workplace environments. The position offers a flexible, fully remote working arrangement with projects focused on advancing AI capabilities through specialized human expertise. Evaluate responses generated by enterprise search platforms and AI-powered workplace assistants when answering HR-related questions within your area of expertise.
Assess whether AI-generated answers are factually accurate, appropriately grounded in reliable sources, and supported by correct citations.
Review how AI tools handle access permissions and determine whether responses respect individual users' authorization levels.
Identify outdated, inconsistent, incomplete, or conflicting information across HR knowledge bases and other enterprise information sources.
Analyze AI response failures to distinguish between retrieval issues, missing information, and reasoning errors.
Provide structured evaluations and expert feedback to help improve the quality, reliability, and relevance of AI-powered workplace tools.
Apply practical HR experience to assess whether responses align with workplace policies, HR processes, and real-world operational expectations.
Contribute to projects focused on training and improving advanced AI systems while protecting confidential and proprietary information.
Complete assigned evaluation projects independently, adapting to project timelines, scope, and evolving requirements.
At least five years of active professional experience in human resources, with demonstrated expertise in a specific HR domain.
Current employment in an HR, People Operations, Payroll, or HR Systems role at a technology company, such as a software or SaaS business, internet company, hardware manufacturer, or semiconductor organization.
Regular, hands‑on experience using at least one enterprise search platform or workplace AI assistant, such as Glean, Workday Assistant, Sana, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint Search, Guru, Coveo, Moveworks, or Service Now AI Search.
Practical experience using Workday HCM as an end user; configuration‑only training does not meet this requirement.
A strong understanding of HR information, workplace policies, knowledge retrieval, and the importance of accurate, source‑backed answers.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content, identify information gaps, recognize conflicting sources, and distinguish retrieval problems from reasoning mistakes.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment when reviewing AI outputs.
Ability to work independently, communicate findings clearly, and consistently apply evaluation criteria.
Experience managing or curating HR knowledge content, including policy pages, HR help‑center articles, or FAQ libraries in platforms such as Confluence, Service Now Knowledge Base, Workday Help, or similar systems, is preferred.
