Agency Recruiting Specialist

This Agency Recruiting Specialist role supports Shelter Insurance by sourcing, screening, and recommending qualified candidates for agency positions throughout the company's operating territory. The position includes frequent overnight travel, assistance to the Recruiting Manager, and completion of required screening steps for final candidates.

Recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency roles across Shelter Insurance's operating territory. The position supports the Recruiting Manager by handling recruiting activities and performing other assigned duties as requested. Home office equipment and a company vehicle are provided, and travel expenses are paid.

• Recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter's operating territory.
• Perform other duties at the request of the Recruiting Manager.
• Order required screening for final candidates, including a Credit Bureau Report
  , Motor Vehicle Report
  , and Criminal Background Check

• Ability to develop thorough knowledge of company products, policies, and philosophy.
• Capability to travel overnight frequently

• Capability to obtain P & C and Life & Health licensing and maintain current industry knowledge through industry courses (company paid).

• Location: Evansville, IN (onsite)
• Salary: USD 63,273 per year
