Remote Driver Recruiter - Transportation

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Remote Driver Recruiter to focus on sourcing and hiring qualified drivers for their expanding transportation operations. Based from a remote location, ideally near Paarl , you will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from identifying potential candidates to extending offers. Your expertise in understanding the unique needs of the transportation industry will be crucial in attracting and retaining top driving talent.

• Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for various driving positions, including commercial and specialized roles, all conducted remotely.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of drivers.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates through networking, job boards, and social media.
• Manage the offer process, including background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and ensure successful placements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS).

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on the transportation or logistics industry.
• Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management.
• Excellent understanding of driver recruitment processes and requirements (e.g., licenses, PDPs, medicals).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using online recruitment platforms and ATS systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote setting.
