Our client is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Human Resources Specialist to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across South Africa. This role is essential for managing various HR functions remotely, ensuring consistency and compliance regardless of geographical location. You will be responsible for supporting employees and management with HR-related inquiries, administering HR policies, and contributing to HR projects.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently, and possesses excellent virtual communication skills to foster engagement and support within a dispersed workforce.
- Provide remote HR support and guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Manage employee data and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality within the HRIS.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Support the administration of performance management cycles and employee development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in a remote work context.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with experience in remote work preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and South African labor law.
- Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and standard office productivity software.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously in a remote setting.
