What You'll Be Doing as the Payroll & Benefits Specialist

• Process multi-state payroll for both salaried and hourly employees.
• Utilize HRIS technology to automate and streamline payroll processes.
• Set up payroll tax and compliance requirements in new states as needed.
• Manage leave administration, including FMLA and other leaves of absence.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while serving as the organization's payroll subject matter expert.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit programs.
• Build a strong partnership with the company's benefits broker and external vendors.
• Assist with benefits reporting, audits, and ongoing administration.

What They’re Looking For in the Payroll & Benefits Specialist

• Associates or Bachelors in HR
• 3-4+ years of payroll processing experience and involvement in benefits administration
