Remote HR Policy Advisor

About the Role  Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Remote HR Policy Advisor to guide the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, remotely supporting their workforce across South Africa. This role is crucial for ensuring that HR policies are compliant, equitable, and aligned with the company's values and business objectives. You will work closely with HR leadership and legal counsel to draft, review, and update policies, ensuring they are communicated effectively and applied consistently, especially within a remote and hybrid work context.

Key Responsibilities   Develop, review, and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
Advise HR teams and management on the interpretation and application of HR policies.
Conduct research on relevant employment laws and industry trends impacting policy development.
Ensure policies are clearly documented, communicated, and accessible to all employees.
Support the implementation of new HR initiatives through policy framework development.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with HR policies.
Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on policy development and implementation.
Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor law and its practical application.
Experience working in a remote or distributed environment is highly desirable.
Excellent written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
