Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist

This role is a key member of the Agate Human Resources team, with an initial primary focus on recruitment and onboarding, which will represent approximately 60-70% of the position's responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in attracting, hiring, and welcoming employees to Agate, helping create a positive and engaging experience from a candidate's first interaction with the organization through their transition into employment.

This is a hands-on, people-centered role responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment activities, coordinating onboarding processes, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring new employees have the tools, resources, and support needed to be successful from day one. The position serves as a key point of contact for applicants, new hires, and leaders across the organization, helping ensure a smooth and professional employment experience.

As the employee grows in the role, responsibilities will gradually expand to include additional Human Resources functions such as performance management support, workers' compensation administration, leave of absence coordination, HR compliance, employee records management, and other generalist-level responsibilities. Over time, there may also be opportunities to develop skills in employee relations and other strategic HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in recruitment and onboarding, excellent communication skills, and the desire to broaden their expertise across multiple areas of Human Resources.

Associate Director of Human Resources

This is an in-office position, with flexibility for occasional remote work or adjustments to daily schedule as operational needs allow. Core working hours fall between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with flexibility in start and end times.

Full time, Exempt Compensation: $60,000

• Coordinate recruitment activities including posting positions, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting initial candidate screens, and preparing hiring documentation.
• Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Prepare offer letters and onboarding materials.
