Senior Recruitment Consultant - FMCG & Retail

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy located in Kimberley , is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to spearhead their Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) & Retail recruitment practice. This pivotal role requires a professional with a keen understanding of the dynamic FMCG and retail landscapes, adept at sourcing and placing talent in areas such as sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, and management.

You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, building strong client relationships, and identifying top-tier candidates. • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for FMCG and Retail roles, including Brand Managers, Sales Directors, Supply Chain Specialists, Category Managers, and Store Managers.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates, assessing their suitability for specific roles and company cultures.
• Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients within the FMCG and Retail sectors.
• Understand client business needs and market dynamics to provide effective recruitment solutions.
• Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including professional networks, job boards, and social media.
• Negotiate offers and manage the offer acceptance process.
• Stay current with industry trends, consumer behavior, and talent market intelligence in FMCG and Retail.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team recruitment targets.
• Provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a positive experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on the FMCG and Retail sectors.
• Proven ability to source and place candidates in commercial, operational, and management roles within these industries.
• Good understanding of FMCG and Retail market dynamics, including product life cycles and consumer trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• A self-motivated individual with a proven track record of success in a recruitment role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
