Lead Buckland’s human resources strategy across Canada, the United States, and Mexico with bilingual communication and employment-law expertise. Remote work is available for nonlocal applicants.
As Director of Human Resources, you will guide policies, staff, and talent strategy across all lines of business. The position translates business needs into integrated HR solutions while supporting sustainable performance. You will oversee recruiting, retention, compliance, performance management, compensation, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead HR policies, standards, procedures, and department staff
- Collaborate with senior leadership on staffing and retention strategy
- Implement training, surveys, talent, and culture initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws across three countries
- Establish KPIs and lead cross-functional transformational projects
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of human resource management experience
- Strong English and Spanish verbal and written communication
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and HR expertise
- Ability to travel approximately 25% across company offices
