Pharmaceutical or Biomedical Mandatory About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team on a fully remote basis, supporting recruitment activities for engineering and technical positions across the US.

Previous professional recruitment experience within the pharmaceutical or biomedical industry is compulsory for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and candidate engagement through to screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding. You will work closely with US-based hiring managers and business stakeholders to identify, attract and secure highly skilled technical professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter who understands the technical talent market within highly regulated industries and is comfortable working independently in a fully remote, US-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and engineering positions across the US.
  • Partner with US-based hiring managers and business leaders to understand technical requirements, project needs and workforce plans.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for specialist technical talent.
  • Identify and engage both active and passive candidates through Linked In Recruiter, Boolean searches, professional networks, industry databases and other sourcing channels.
  • Recruit for specialist positions across engineering, manufacturing, automation, validation, quality, project management and other technical disciplines.
  • Review technical CVs and assess candidates against technical, industry and role-specific requirements.
  • Conduct initial screening, competency-based interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified technical professionals for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process and ensure a professional and engaging candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and US-based hiring managers.
  • Manage offer processes, salary expectations, negotiations, references and pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the ATS.
  • Provide regular updates and recruitment reports to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding candidate availability, compensation expectations, skills shortages and recruitment trends.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with technical professionals and specialist talent communities.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives where required.

Ensure recruitment activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, employment legislation and applicable data protection requirements.

Requirements Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of professional recruitment experience.
  • Previous recruitment experience within the pharmaceutical, biomedical or medical device industry is compulsory.
  • Demonstrable experience recruiting technical and/or engineering professionals.
  • Strong understanding of technical talent markets within regulated industries.
  • Experience recruiting specialist rather than exclusively high-volume or generalist positions.
  • Ability to understand technical job descriptions and evaluate engineering and technical CVs.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including Linked In Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
  • Proven experience conducting candidate screening and interviews.
  • Experience partnering directly with US-based hiring managers and business stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience using an ATS and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
  • Strong understanding of technical salary expectations and the US recruitment market conditions.
  • Ability and willingness to work Monday-Friday aligned with US East Coast business hours.

Reliable home working environment and strong ability to work independently.
