HR Officer - part time

Ready to put your HR expertise to work on meaningful organisational change? We're looking for an experienced part-time HR professional to support organisational design, job evaluations and policy reviews in a varied role. MCS Group is proud to be partnering with an organisation in its search for a Human Resources Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to organisational change, review HR policies and procedures.

Experience in organisational design and job evaluation would be particularly beneficial.

The Role:

Support organisational design and development initiatives, including job evaluation processes and associated reviews. Advise line managers on HR policies, procedures and employee matters, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance issues. Support sensitive employee conversations relating to organisational change and role evaluation. Review and develop HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment legislation, best practice and equality requirements. Support recruitment, onboarding and learning and development activities.

Analyse HR information, maintain accurate employee records and provide HR systems support. Contribute to wider Corporate Services activities and organisational projects, including supporting Finance and administration when required.

The Person The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential: A relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience, alongside Associate Membership of the CIPD. HR experience, advising on policies and employee matters. Experience or knowledge of organisational design, job evaluation and organisational change, ideally within the public sector. Knowledge of HR policy review, employment legislation and equality requirements, including Section 75 or Equality Schemes. What's in it for you?
