Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across many concurrent requisitions, from client intake and job posting through phone screening, interview coordination, offer support, and payroll onboarding.
- Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define requirements, success criteria, and realistic timelines, and advise on market conditions and compensation.
- Build a working knowledge of each client and turn it into targeted application and phone screen questions that surface qualified candidates fast.
- Source and manage candidate pipelines through job boards, direct outreach, and a structured screening process, keeping accurate ATS records along the way.
- Keep clients and candidates informed at every stage with proactive updates on pipeline status, market feedback, and next steps.
- Build, document, and refine Talent Pro’s recruiting playbook, intake guide, screening framework, and reporting templates as the service grows.
This is a volume-and-pace role. You’ll be juggling open requisitions across different clients, industries, and islands at once, often for hourly and skilled-trades positions where speed matters and the right hire changes a business’s week. Staying organized under that load, following up without being chased, and learning new systems quickly are not optional — they’re the job. You’ll have a team that knows Hawaii hiring and a process built on proven Topgrading methods behind you, but you’ll need to own your desk.
Processes and tools here are still taking shape. Some days you’ll be filling roles; other days you’ll be figuring out a better way to fill them and writing it down so the next search goes faster. If you want everything defined on day one, this will feel uncomfortable. If you like building while you deliver, it’s a rare chance to shape a new service from the ground floor.
What You’ll Bring To The TeamYou have a proven track record in full-cycle recruiting and have carried multiple active searches at once while meeting your commitments to hiring managers and candidates. Agency, RPO, or high-volume in-house experience is a strong plus, and Hawaii market knowledge is a plus but not required. We’re looking for strong organization, customer focus, sound judgment, clear spoken communication, and adaptability.
You’re Probably a Fit If- You’ve run a high-volume desk without dropping the ball. You kept a dozen-plus requisitions moving with a system that caught every follow-up, so hiring managers stopped having to ask where things stood.
- You’ve been a trusted advisor, not an order taker. When a hiring manager’s expectations didn’t match the market, you showed them the data and recalibrated the search together, and they hired someone who stayed.
- You’ve delivered hard news and kept the relationship. You told a finalist they didn’t get the offer, or told a client their pay range wasn’t competitive, and both came back to work with you again.
- You pick up new tools fast and let the data steer you. You learned a new ATS in days and used pipeline numbers to spot which roles were stalling, so a client got a shortlist weeks sooner.
- You’ve built process where there wasn’t one. You created a screening guide or intake template that a team adopted, cutting wasted interviews for hiring managers who were short on time.
