Vice President – Data Analytics & Technology

VP Data Analytics & Technology provides leadership, innovation, and oversight to the Data Analytics & Technology function that will produce the right data acquisition, data sets, and integrate them with the right technology tools to help generate right insights and strategies for operational and business initiatives. This role oversees and manages various technology services and all system implementations, enhancements, including business requirements development.

As the VP, you plan, develop technology and data policies to support strategies set by management, make purchases, and draft budgets for these changes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Establish long‑term and short‑term strategies for business unit analysis and reporting solutions.
  • Oversee and lead the Data Analytics & Technology portfolio, delivering a high‑value toolkit to measure and monitor network performance, report on overall cost and utilization, and support other functional domains.
  • Lead business analysis architecture design and define integration path of business unit analytic tools and processes.
  • Direct and coordinate professional services such as systems analysis and design, feasibility studies, and programming of information, communication, and office automation systems.
  • Define, manage and execute a comprehensive data quality program across the enterprise with a focus on measuring, improving, and reporting on the effectiveness of that program.
  • Provide leadership on driving initiatives to improve business performance through improved decision making based on sound analysis of structured and unstructured (e.g., text) information captured in databases and other information repositories.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies and services that will improve efficiency, processes, and operations; review requests for additional services and upgrades, assessing the costs and benefits to the organization.
  • Approve the purchase, rent, lease, license, or other acquisition of hardware, software, or services needed to meet company needs.
  • Monitor and report progress on development projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.
  • Facilitate preparation of project plans and proposals, outlining project objectives, IS requirements, and analytical and programming staffing requirements for proposed systems.
  • Maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of IS staff, equipment, and procedures.
  • Work with key business partners to define, standardize and implement measurement programs that support key business initiatives or projects across the enterprise.
  • Develop methodologies for design, development, delivery, and support of information systems to meet business needs as well as best practices for application development, testing procedures, and release processes.
  • Consistently demonstrate company values and expected behaviors.

  • Recruit, manage, coach and lead managers and staff with the skills to maintain a high‑quality organization.
  • Train and develop staff to enhance skills, accountability, adaptability and capability to work individually and in teams.
