Overview
Major Account Executive, Acquisition – West region. This is a remote-friendly role in a remote-first company focused on Grafana Labs’ open-source visualization platform. The candidate will prospect and close new business, manage forecasts and customer data, and employ a consultative sales approach to articulate value during trials and hand off to Customer Success.

What You’ll Be Doing- Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals
- Outbound prospecting into net-new customers
- Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations)
- Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
- Convey the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise
- Manage sales pipeline in Salesforce
- Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales
- Proven track record of achieving goals in competitive environments (top 10% performer)
- Adaptable with experience in high-velocity technology companies
- Familiarity with open-source technology is a plus
- Strong communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels; able to build relationships both in person and virtually
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)
ICC
In the USA, the On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is 300,000–330,000. Actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). We provide RSUs to align team outcomes with Grafana Labs’ global growth.
