Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role for an Application Specialist based in Ypsilanti, MI, with flexibility for some work from home. The Application Specialist will deliver technical and application support to customers, diagnose and troubleshoot system‑related issues, and provide training for effective use of LaVision’s products. They will collaborate with internal teams for continuous product improvement and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
The role involves technical problem solving, preparing documentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high‑quality support services.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- Application support and technical support experience to provide guidance and training on specialized imaging systems
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, provide clear instructions, and maintain collaborative relationships
- Ability to work both independently and within cross‑functional teams
- Experience or knowledge in laser imaging systems, optical measurement techniques, or related technologies is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field preferred
