What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Deliver incident investigation and response services to insured clients
  • Collect, transmit, and store digital evidence in a forensically sound manner
  • Analyze digital evidence to identify indicators of compromise and adversary activity
  • Develop incident reports and recommendations for risk mitigation for impacted clients
  • Participate in incident recovery activities, including data restoration and network rebuilding
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or incident recovery
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Previous hands‑on experience in digital forensics and incident response
  • Willingness to travel as needed to perform job functions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Significant coursework in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or cybersecurity
  • Background in law enforcement or military with experience in complex technical investigations
  • Knowledge of cloud security products and services from major providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience with a top‑10 cyber consulting firm or leading DFIR provider
  • One or more industry cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GCIH, Security+, CISSP)
